How is a movie from 2024 so wildly misogynistic and gross especially compared to the original from the 90s that is actually extremely cool and empowering??

Ridiculous dialogue, flat characters, formulaic and uncreative. Lose any trace of sauce from the original. Actively weirdly offensive. Like, weirdly. Completely unnecessary and not part of the plot in an active or critical way. Hollywood slop at its most mediocre.
